Falling in Love? Maybe its like climbing

Falling in love is such an odd phrase. Like you trip and fall in a mud puddle, but it turns out to actually be a puddle of love? Then you get to just roll around in it and frolic? I guess all is well until the sun hits, your puddle evaporates and you are left covered in a dried crust of old love. No, that doesn't seem right at all.

Maybe getting into love is more like climbing a mountain; rigorous, full of thrills, exhilarating, and with an amazing plateau with a clear stream at the top where you can relax frolic and enjoy the view. All is well, until somene gets annoyed at all your basking and frolicking and pushes you off the back side of the mountain. Now here is the worst part: the back side of the mountain is all jagged rocks, dog poop and thorn bushes. And, you want so bad to be back in love and on top of that mountain, you will grab and grasp and frail around trying to get any chance to climb back up. but man, there is no climbing up the back of the mountain, and all the extra resistance to the fall you exert just makes the damage worse, scraping you up and covering you in poop. The best bet almost is to just go with it, jump away from the mountain and embrace your free fall, and then perhaps you can climb up ther front side of the mountain; or even better, find a better place where some Barely Intelligent Terribly Cold Human doesn't try to push you off the back of the damn mountain
