I went to Pete Smith's wedding this weekend in St Louis, it was pretty nice. Our after party consisted of Karaoke at the hotel bar. There sure is something magical about engaging in drunken revelry. Videos are on http://www.youtube.com/aaronlambdaking

Have I really gone 6 months without writing anything? Have I really gone 5 years without a literary movement? These things must change. in the short term, some random thoughts...


1. An Obama supporter was quoted as saying that any racists who would never vote for a black president are already firmly in the republican mckain camp anyway (meaning the only racists still in the country are backwards thinkers who always vote republican, so its not like they would have ever voted hilary over mckain, so you dont lost anything with Obama as the candidate). There was an ensuing media outrage. How could he say such a thing, the media asked. But it is true! are we in that much of a sensitive country we cant acknowledge truths?

2. A Mckain supporter was quoted as saying that another terrorist attack in the country would be good for Mckain. There as a media outrage, how could he say such a thing? Again, it is true, terrorist attacks would make more people vote for Mckain... why cant we acknowledge these truths?

Silly America...
